Mama-to-be -- RIP 2006

A heartbreaker. I'll remember this always.

This beautiful, calm, golden mama-to-be was about ready to pop. She and her babies-to-be should've had the chance to blossom. But instead, she was put in the GAS CHAMBER and killed at the Franklin Co., NC, shelter.

RIP, mama. There are no words.

Saddest boy in L.A. -- RIP 2005

He cried and watched as his owners dumped him and walked away at the So. L.A. shelter in CA (look at the lovely broken chain, too). Then he was put in ISO (isolation) with no hope of adoption.

A bunch of rescuers and I frantically raised money online for him so that a rescue group would take him...not knowing that the shelter already killed him 2 days before.

RIP...I'll never forget you. Broke my heart. Your owners should've been euthed. Not you.

Zesta -- RIP 2004

Killed after the stupid owner's daughter brought her to Prince George's Co., MD, shelter. The owners didn't listen to my rescue friend who told them not to take the dog to the shelter, as she needed a couple of days to find a foster home. But they thought the dog would be adopted at the shelter, so they took her there, where her life ended just 2 hrs. later.

RIP, sweet, smiling girl. You deserved a great life...but instead were betrayed by your moronic owners.
